Dear camping friends!
As in north Europa is also here very cold -22 at night brrrr not much snow in valley but lots in mountains.
But now the carneval days will make winter stop and we are looking forward for hot sunny summer!
Enyoj winter pleasures and good luck at scholl and work till summer!

Autumn in camp Menina

Slovenian campings (Slowenien Campingplätze) are enjoying very sunny and warm autumns. Still we don’t have any snow and in nice sunny weather we can work a lot in the campsite. We are making new place for table tennis, panna football. Jojo is busy with new roofs, Katja, Spela, Ivo and mama are bussy with cleaning the campsite of fallen leaves. Jurij is busy arranging new water toys for the camp lake – very mooi bejtje spanand!

New beach by the river

Dear camping friends, we are having very sunny autumn. So we were busy last weeks building new beach by the river Savinja. It is a regular river spot, very useful for our guests, just one minute walk from the campsite. The project is finished and the hole place is much better for our guests for the next summers. These barriers are also safety for the campsite, when the water rises very high in the winter. Now we will start to make improvements on the lake, some water jumps and special shallow spots for little kids. Also for our little Špela who is 10 months old now and already walking and visiting swimming lessons.

@ river SAVINJA

It got really hot theese days in camping Menina in Slovenia.

I was sitting on the “Žajni pub” terrace at 32ºC and 75% humidity … the only logicall choice, that my brain could process in that moment, was to throw myself into very fresh (20-22ºC) and very clean river Savinja, 47 seconds of calm walking from the campingplatz :)
